Russell Brunson reveals the secrets for successful around-the-clock online business in his book Traffic Secrets. He emphasizes that there are many entrepreneurs that create amazing products and services. However, the main problem they face is to bring potential customers to their websites. He founded ClickFunnels, which is now a $100 million-worth company, provides customers with the necessary online and digital tools to create websites with customer funneling capability.
In the book, “Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers,” he reveals 20 secrets to improve your website traffic and customer funneling. This book is in fact an extraordinary 30-day challenge.
The important questions that one has to ask ourselves are: (1) who are your dream customers? (2) where are they congregating? To answer the first question, we have to be clear what product or service we want to sell. In my case, I am a blogger and to answer this question is complexed as I don’t sell a tangible product. However, I believe my audience is women and moms that are also interested in fashion, travel, and lifestyle. In addition, I also work directly with public relations agencies or companies that need to have an advertising campaign. Therefore, I need to have an engaged audience that is receiving the content they need, so that I can get a faithful and trustworthy relationship with them.
Once we answered the first question we need to look around on the internet for similar competitor websites and then strategized to bring these customers into our websites for us to sell products/services to them. Therefore, that’s when we create the step that is the main key for your dream customer to find you. This is called your Dream 100, which is deeply explained in the Traffic Secrets book, but I’ll explain it a little bit here. I need to look for the places where my dream audience is congregating. Therefore, these places can be websites, blogs, forums, social media sites, etc. I have to find people that are visiting other bloggers/content creators with the same theme as me. Then, I hopefully create a relationship with my Dream 100 as they have congregated all my dream customers.
I believe that the book “Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers,” offers the tools for being a successful digital entrepreneur. This is because it gives you detailed information on how to drive traffic to your website with your dream customers. I have learned so much from it and I can’t wait to implement all the acquired strategies to grow not only my website but also my social channels with my dream audience.
